Gallery!

2nd February 2012

As a customer it is important to know what you’re buying.  When customers visit our shop no matter if they’re looking for curtain poles, blinds, shutters or even a spare holdback we endeavor to show the product in the best possible manner to let the customer walk away feeling confident in their final choice.  On our website, depending on which product interests you, we want to help make sure that it is the right decision for you.

With this in mind we are highlighting our Gallery section!  Our gallery section is situated on our menu bar and in a nutshell is the home place of all of our images.  In this section you will find numerous images of all our work and interior shots to accompany a lot of our products.  Here’s a little rundown of what is in the section already:

Bay Window project in Cheyne Walk – This bay window project dates back to last year and is one of our first Gallery items.  This shows off one of our bigger jobs in London.  Have a look at the finished job or read about it here in one of our first blogs!

What we do – This is a handful of images which establish who we are as a company.  The album shows off a project we completed in a local hotel but includes curtain poles, blinds and shutters of all shapes and sizes, letting our work speak for itself.

Children’s Blackout Blinds – A very brief album showing off a few of our children’s Blackout blinds option.  A very simple album just to highlight that we can work with any environment.

TPC Designed Finials – This is one of our collaboration efforts with one of the local companies to create a stunning new finial for their latest range.  If you would like to read more about this new finial and see how it came about why not take a look at our previous blog about it here.

Out of the Fire – Here we decided to expand on one of our most popular lines.  This particular range deals solely in Wrought Iron Curtain poles, and is sourced locally.  Why not take a look at it to admire if nothing else.

Walcot House curtain pole collection – This is an example of another popular range on our site which we thought deserved more attention.  This modern range is shown off in a bunch of spectacular photos ranging from close ups of some of the finials to interior shots with a curtain pole perfectly slotted into a homely scene.

Shutters Feel Inspired! This is the latest of our gallery items.  An array of shutter pics showing off even more of our work.  This details all types of shutters on a number of different scales.

Our exciting Gallery section

A glimpse of our brand new gallery section!

We will be adding more to our Gallery section as the months go on, but in the meantime have a look at our current gallery items as mentioned above.  If you would like anymore information about the gallery items or have any ideas on what you would like to see in our gallery section then please contact us.  As always please join our Facebook group and follow us on Twitter!

Poles Only; The Only choice.

17th January 2012

Choices are a big part of everyday life.  Throughout the day, we make choices, some more subconscious than others but all of which contribute to determine/effect where we are and how we feel at the end of that day.  Its even a choice as to whether you choose to continue reading the rest of this blog!

At The Pole Company we understand that choice is an integral part of everyone’s lives, so we have decided to expand the choice by adding a new section with more products.  However being able to make more choices is one thing but having more control over those choices is another.   So with that in mind we would like to Introduce our Poles Only Section!

The Poles Only section allows you the customer to have the freedom of building your own curtain pole set!   You begin with a single curtain pole which you could purchase straight away or you could add Finials, Brackets and Rings in whichever quantity suits you (The individual curtain poles and curtain pole accessories all come with relevant information to help when choosing your quantities).  Then if you would like to add even more to your set, try adding other less essential curtain accessories such as Holdbacks or for Bay windows why not try a corner piece.

Individual Curtain Poles

The Curtain Pole-the first step to building your set.

The section itself has been live and was briefly mentioned in our last blog (All about New Years Resolutions which if you haven’t already you can read here), but now it is full of the relevant brands.  The brands and ranges included in our new section our Decotec, Modern Country, Neo, Integra Inspired, Jones Hardwick & Lunar, and The Painted Curtain Pole Company.  All fantastic brands with extensive component choices.

So if you are looking to buy a curtain pole set from us why not try buying it from our Poles Only section? Its very straightforward and lets you know exactly what you’re buying!  So give it a go!  For more information please contact us or visit our Facebook and Twitter profiles.

Need a New Years Resolution? Let Integra inspire you this Jannuary!!

10th January 2012

So we find ourselves in 2012 and with every new year we are prompted with the need for change and general self improvement through the dreaded New Year’s Resolution.  Well if you’ve struggled for Inspiration this year or maybe given up entirely on the idea, why not treat your house, or more precisely your windows to a resolution instead?   If you’re searching for inspiration why not take a look at our new metal curtain pole range Inspired by Integra?

You may think its easy for us to bring up New Year Resolutions and not mention what we’re up to for ours, but we are joining in too.  Other than working harder, generating more sales and ensuring all our staff own expensive sports cars by 2013, we are also making a few changes online all beginning with our Inspired metal curtain pole range.   This range is a prime product in our shop but this year we are aiming to increase our online selection by adding a lot of showroom based curtain poles to this site one way or another.  So Integra Inspired is the first in what could be a very long line of ‘showroom only’ curtain poles to make online appearances (Watch this blog for more information about these curtain poles very soon!)

Integra Inspired is a beautiful addition as a range that we are extremely glad to welcome onboard to the site.  The range is fairly compact with only 2 separate diameters, 19mm and 28mm.

The 19mm part of the range has 6 different modern finials to choose from including the Nera Moda in Torino/Rimini/Napoli/Sienna/Milano/Sorrento.  Don’t let the names worry you, these are exquisite designs, follow the links for a closer inspection.  The only available curtain pole colour for the 19mm section of the range comes in a Satin Nickel, which makes choosing your curtain pole for this diameter even easier.

Fantastic Milano Finial

Milano-As stunning as it sounds.

For the 28mm section we have a greater selection of colours.  The curtain poles available in 28mm are Satin Nickel, Chrome and Black Nickel.  The finials include Ronda/Quaza/Sphera/Zara again why not feed your curiosity and follow the links to our finials section for further information.

The range is made up of components so this fits in perfectly with our poles only section!  Where you can mix and match the components to create your own Integra curtain pole set.  But for those who would prefer a quick and easier way you can pick up a standard set from our Inspired range in our main curtain pole section, under metal curtain poles.  One we made earlier!

Zara finial curtain pole set

Available as both sets and components!

So that concludes our introduction to Inspire from Integra.  Its a superb range that definitely could fulfill your home’s New Years Resolution! Look at our complete sets here or try building your own in our poles only section.  Please contact us for more information if you are interested by this Integra range! As always join our Facebook and Twitter profiles for new and related content.

The Pole Company Winter Season!

Winter Wonderland at The Pole Company!

Portiere Rods: A Winter Warmer?

9th December 2011

Over the last month, we have been receiving a growing number of enquiries about Portiere Rods on our site; with Christmas right around the corner and the cold weather now upon us, a Portiere Rod may be just what you need in your home!

Portiere Rods are essentially smaller curtain poles.  They are used for door curtains as they are very useful in reducing any drafts or heat loss which at this time of year is a very welcoming prospect.  In warmer months where a curtain may no longer be necessary, the Portiere Rod has been designed to allow the curtain to be removed easily.  The traditional Portiere Rod, also known as a Rising Portiere Rod, are fixed to the door by a pivoting bracket which attaches to the frame or the wall at the side of the door.  The curtain will then ‘follow’ the door every time it moves.

Alternatively to the traditional (Rising) Portiere Rod, is the ‘swing arm’ Portiere.  Much like the traditional Rising Portiere Rod it is designed for door curtains but instead of following the door it is designed to act independently.  This means the curtain resides against the wall and can be closed manually whenever necessary.

Our Range of Hallis Hudson Portiere Rods

Some of our online Portiere Rods!

Ranges of Portiere Rods we sell include Hallis Hudson, Artisan which are made from Wrought Iron, and Cameron Fueller Portiere Rods.  Currently online we have a modest collection of Hallis Hudson Rising Portiere Rods ranging from brass to powder-coated steel in white to bronze.  Of course the other options mentioned are available in our shop, for more information please contact us.

Please also note that at The Pole Company we endeavor to add new products  to our site all the time but due to the busy nature of the shop we can be delayed  in putting all of the options online, so as soon as we load more Portiere Rods or any other product to our curtain accessories section you’ll find out first in our blog!

As always please follow us on Twitter and join our Facebook Page for exlcusive content!  Its still Grinch season so see our related content on both of these applications so its worth a look!  Thank you for reading.
